No show July 17

ComedySportz San Antonio will be headed to Philadelphia for this year's ComedySportz tournament so there will not be a show on Saturday July 17.  We will return to the stage July 24 armed with new games and ready to return to rocking our Loyal Fanz' socks off.

Improv 101 begins July 25th

The award-winning ComedySportz is offering a workshop series on Improvisation called:
Improv 101

 Acting Up Creative Drama Academy
Dates Sundays July 25, August 1, 8, 15, 22, 29

 Extras Two free passes good for any ComedySportz San Antonio or Austin show during the months of August, September, and October. 18 hours of instruction.


In this workshop, you’ll be challenged to step out of your comfort zone through a variety of improv exercises. You’ll learn to:

 

About the instructor:

Jason brings years of improv experience to his training sessions. Like everyone else, he took pleasure in the hilarity of Whose Line Is It Anyway? It wasn’t long before he began to think, “Hey, I could do that!”

Starting out with friends on a weekend night, he’d try his own hand at the improv thing and really enjoyed it. Soon he headed for Delaware and honed his improv skills with the talented Danny Peak.
From his training sessions with Danny, Jason formed the improv group the Comikazies. Jason used his improv skills to secure a place with the San Antonio improv troupe, ComedySportz.
After three years with CSz, Jason has used his improv skills to book numerous commercial and film roles.
