Join the DNL Players the first Saturday of the month at The Little Improv Theater (home of ComedySportz San Antonio) for the funniest comedy + variety show in all of Texas. Expect top‑tier improvisers, comedians, musical guests, and surprises at this 10:00 PM, BYOB show.
DNL returns Saturday, September 5th with special guest host CAKE WALK and musical guest BAD SOUND CONFIDENCE!
CAKE WALK comedy is an independent improv troupe based in Baltimore, Maryland. This group of melanated folks performs an original form called “Sit-Prov”, a situational comedy format. With a combined thirty years of experience performing and teaching, these artists create amazing characters that have garnered high accolades. Featured in festivals across the country, Cake Walk also teaches their signature form, in their popular workshop entitled “The Cake Mix”. Participants practice character work, object work and pushing scenes forward to work towards performing their own improvised sitcom. Using all of the typical sitcom tropes, Cake Walk is must see improv TV!
BAD SOUND CONFIDENCE is San Antonio’s ultimate punk rock cover band and six time Dadurday Night Live musical guest!
The DNL PLAYERS are a powerhouse group of San Antonio improvisers: MY 4 DADS (four improvisers who - much like your own father - can take any suggestion and make it much, much worse), BACHELORS OF SCIENCE (the WEEKEND SCIENCE UPDATE anchors improvising the stories behind real science headlines they’ve never seen), and LINDSEY NAVE (hosting the delightfully absurd, Girl‑Scout‑approved interview segment THE COOKIE JAR WITH JILLIE).

Food & Beverage Policy
We are a BYOB facility for beer and wine only. You’re welcome to bring your own beverage to consume responsibly at our venue. No outside food or soft drinks allowed; please see our snack bar for some tasty snacks.
