DNL returns Saturday, June 6 with award‑winning guest hosts PARALLELOGRAMOPHONOGRAPH and special guest comedian BRENDAN PICARD!

PARALLELOGRAMOPHONOGRAPH (Kareem Badr, Kaci Beeler, and Roy Janik) has been performing together for over 18 years and 1000 shows (and counting!). They specialize in improvising full-length plays, showcasing a range from delightful and frenzied to dark and sinister. PGraph have toured internationally and performed at the most prestigious improv festivals in the world as well as the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland. Their love for theatre and a hive-mind-like ensemble combine to produce some of the most unique live theatre you’ll ever see. PGraph has received “Best Improv Troupe” in the Austin Chronicle’s “Best of Austin” Awards, a B. Iden Payne Award for Outstanding Achievement in Improvisational Theatre, an Austin Critics Table Award, and a ‘Best of Austin’ Critics Award for “Most Continuously Innovative Improv Troupe”. Members of PGraph regularly teach and direct shows at The Hideout Theatre.

Originally from Waco and now based in San Antonio, BRENDAN PICARD has spent the last two years moving from improv to sketch writing to stand‑up. He performs with the local sketch and improv troupe The 7th City Comedy Crew and splits his time between working as a Realtor and running production at the Riot Riverwalk Comedy Club. His credits include showcases at the Riot Riverwalk Comedy Club, Upstage Comedy Lounge, The Little Improv Theater, and the Woodlawn Theater. A recent winner of the Golden Mic at A Total Joke‑Off, his comedy leans deadpan and dry, often drawing on his experiences as a real estate agent, a stoner, and a veteran.

The DNL PLAYERS are a powerhouse group of San Antonio improvisers: MY 4 DADS (four improvisers who - much like your own father - can take any suggestion and make it much, much worse), BACHELORS OF SCIENCE (the WEEKEND SCIENCE UPDATE anchors improvising the stories behind real science headlines they’ve never seen), and LINDSEY NAVE (hosting the delightfully absurd, Girl‑Scout‑approved interview segment THE COOKIE JAR WITH JILLIE).

We are a BYOB facility for beer and wine only. You’re welcome to bring your own beverage to consume responsibly at our venue. No outside food or soft drinks allowed; please see our snack bar for some tasty snacks.
