So the presents are unwrapped, the stockings in shreds, and you still have family hanging out at your house. What do do? Come out to ComedySportz, San Antonio's weekly live, competitive improv comedy show. It's 100% made up on the spot, 100% clean and family-friendly, and 100% hilarious!
ComedySportz features two teams of actletes (half actor, half athlete) competing against each other in improvised games, songs, and scenes. There's a referee to keep order, and the audience decides who walks away with "the thrill of victory", and who gets crushed by the "agony of defeat".
ComedySportz performs every Saturday at 7:30pm at Acting Up Creative Drama Academy, located behind Falcon Bank on Bandera Road, just outside Loop 1604. Tickets are only $10 for general admission, $8 for students/military/seniors 65+, and $5 for kids 11 and under!
