ComedySportz Improv 101 Workshops Start May 30th!

ComedySportz Improv 101 is a fun and engaging beginner’s course that introduces the student to the basics of improvisation. Students will learn how to create characters, build scenes, pantomime and let go of their inhibitions. Throughout this six week course students will develop their skills as individuals and as a team, leading up to a final showcase at the end of the series to share their work with friends and family.

For only $199, you get six three-hour classes, two free passes to go to any ComedySportz San Antonio or Austin shows in the months of May, June, or July, and the free workshop show for your friends and family.

What is ComedySportz?

ComedySportz is fast-paced, family-friendly improvisational comedy, played as a sport. Two teams take turns making up scenes, playing games and singing songs – and the audience votes on which team they like the best. It's all presided over by a referee, who keeps things moving, calls the ComedySportz fouls and takes suggestions shouted out by the audience before each game.

If you've seen TV's Whose Line Is It Anyway? you've got the basic idea, although ComedySportz's two-team competitive format ensures a fast-paced, high-energy show - and seeing this live show is very different from watching a TV show.
